My Story
Hi, my name is Tracey, an Australian wife and mother of three grown up children and a Grand Mother to two gorgeous babies! Trying to see as much of the world as our budget takes us!
In 2013 my world was rocked, diagnosed with Breast Cancer and then the treatment that followed. This is why the Blog is called Let the Real Journey Begin, as to me Cancer treatment really did not feel like a Journey at all! To get me through the months of feeling like Crap, I planned and booked a Bucket List trip to Europe. This kept me sane, and gave me something amazing to look forward to.
I started this blog way back in 2014 as a diary for myself and actually my Dad was my biggest fan, taking him to places he has never been to.
Now ten years on things have changed, my husband Peter and I are working out what sparks joy in our lives, is travelling, meeting like minded people, amazing places in our own country! This was helped by a world wide Pandemic!
Our future plan is to travel in our Caravan for maybe a couple of years and see where we land to settle on, for the next chapter in our lives.
