Versailles Day

Another shocking day as we met our guide at a train station in the middle of Paris (forgotten the name) at 8am this morning, to train ride to Versailles where we first wandered around another sorry beautiful market, to buy our picnic lunch, before picking up the push bikes for our tour. We had such a lovely day, the weather wasn’t great, bit cool but who cares when there’s this much to see-

You could say we loved Versailles, amazing gardens, musical fountain show, palace, but the crowds where unbelievable. Definitely could spend  a couple of days here one for the gardens and the next for the palace’s.  After hours here we left Versailles at about 6 to get back to Paris on our own, leaving the tour, huge effort as the train line near our hotel was closed for renovations. We got back to the hotel, ran in changed, grabbed a drink from the fridge and went to ———-

We went to the 9pm session, just made it and again lucked up seats really close to the stage, it was worth seeing once, incredible costumes or kind of lack of, snake girl ridiculous . Another huge day.
