13 August 2014 Day One Dubai

So it’s in the 40s outside, we grab a taxi and start our day at the Atlantis Waterpark, which turned out to be a good thing after a long flight arriving in this heat! As in we grabbed a floaty thing and headed on the circuit, before getting into the bigger slides.

Not long till Mr 54 year old joined the line up for The Drop, the dutiful wifee was told to get in position for the photo shoot, so I stand in the full sun waiting waiting for the moment, take photos of random others, heat stroke setting in, and I’m noticing not to many over 30s coming down, start thinking is he over the age limit And been refused entry as it took forever! The wait was worth the smile at the end.

After a few hours we headed to the beach to relax under the trees away from the crowds, we were just lying there one other couple around our age ish, when a model looking girl decides to do something like a swimsuit sports cover slash zoo shot, right in front of us, boobs a plastic surgeon would be proud of and the Brazilian bather bottom, you could say Mr 54 and the old bloke beside us where kinda pretty happy!

After the Waterpark just had to have a peak at the Atlanis foyer, Omg – So on to The Dubai Mall to see the fountain show and the Worlds Tallest building, on the way there you can’t help noticing how perfectly clean the city is or the size and quality of the architecture, some very talented people behind this city. The roads are perfectLy designed for now and the future around eight lanes, and fast! Once again we are blown away arriving at the Mall, it’s Huge. More aquariums bigger better, fountains spectacular, cars, shops mind boggling –
