We woke up early to pack our bags ,ready for the long journey home. Of course the Fomo, me a quick last minute walk around the Historic Harbour before our last Canadian breakfast at the hotel. Peter is very very shabbie this morning, laying flat on his back to the very last second before checking out of The Union Club. Checked out at 11:30am had a walk around Victoria before a quick bite to eat at the famous Red Fish Blue 🐟 Fish on the pier.
Again massive Que, so Peter went for a walk while I waited – this works best for us! I met a nice guy from Nova Socia and he said we must come there one day, while lining up. Ticked the Red Fish Blue Fish off the must do list. Then walked around a bit more as the night before was A Big One! Our new friends Liz and Lynne organized to meet us on the way to the ferry at the Waddling Dog for a Famous Caesar, as this is how we met them at Whistler, Sam was having one. Definitely not my thing, but an experience, said our goodbyes and headed off to the ferry ⛴ for Vancouver. It was a magical night on the ferry flat seas, warm sea breeze and scenery over load plus a whale 🐳 sighting! Time to go home, so returned the car we had done over 5000 kilometers and lots of fun. The flight was delayed nearly an hour, full of babies but turned out to be a good flight as we slept most of the way, 16 hours went fairly fast. Back to reality home for lunch with Nick, Sue, Carole and Ethel ❤️🇨🇦
