This morning we all met in the hotel lobby to have breakfast at Crepe Montagne, which was really nice. Back in the car to find the Train Wreck hiking track, which starts at the industrial area. We walked on the train tracks for a while then into a track along a river no one else around.
Our first water fall for the day then back into the woods before we reached the train carriages left in the forest from the fifties, now covered in graffiti and used by bike riders as jumps.
Beside the train wreck is a suspension bridge to a walk over the river, many photos later we walked back to the car and had lunch at a really cool health greengrocer called Olives. Sam drove today and took us via an amazing housing estate, forgot the name but the houses are on another level and have their private ski lift. Sam had been working on some of the site cuts.
Next attempt to find bears on the road the Olympic village, no luck.
Sam and Ana had not been there and where interested in the village. We went and played a round of frisbee golf, lots of fun too. Then the boys had a go of target shooting, more competition with Sam blitzing the old boys in both the frisbee and shooting, which he loved!
Our next stop for the day was Brandywine Falls more beauty! By now everyone’s getting a tad snickers so an early tea so we can have an early start tomorrow morning for the big drive towards Jasper.
Peter and I had a walk around the village and spot of shopping before calling it a day.
