My favourite day of the year, the end of day light saving as it’s the only day for me it’s easy to jump out of bed early!

So off we went nice and early for a walk down the beach on such a beautiful morning!

The Tathra surf club was setting up for a church service at the front of the club at 7:30am, it looked lovely. And the Rubicon guys where all behind the surf club packing up from there mission helping around Tathra. Coffee and hot cross buns at the shop opposite the caravan park. Back to the van Peter picked up his Stand up paddle board and headed off down to the inlet, I walked along the beach and met him.

Lovers ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

After lunch and feeding our friends another drive to Mumbulla creek falls, in the Biamanga National Park down a dirt road for twenty minutes and a really well cared for track to the falls!

Got back to the Caravan Park in time to see tonight’s music and Taco 🌮 truck.  This is when I’m in trouble as Peter wanted to go to the bowling club and have a go, I’m not going to live it down as the music not great again and feral kids running rampant! 😐 lesson learnt.

Easter Monday April 2nd 🐣

Woke to a perfect day blue skies, Breakfast in the Van and then an attempt to do the Tathra CLiff walk, but due to the fire damage it was closed!

Buggar we spent the rest of the afternoon at the beach in front of the lifesaving club, before packing up the van to leave early Tuesday morning. Another attempt to play bare foot bowls at the club only one problem they close the green at 5pm, some ones not 😆 happy- oh dear. Watched the end of the afl Geelong Hawthorn game with a pack of die hard s followed by an early tea at the club.

Goodbye to Tathra Beachside Easter 2018
Orbost Loo stop

As we completely stuffed up looking for the Stony creek bridge, due to fffffnnn satnav biattch, bad signage, meltdown ect Note 📝 Always have good maps do not rely on ffffffnnn technology! One hour no joy then called into another of Peters old workmates in Johnsonville another hour later. Brakes playing up decided to stay in Paynesville the night and have them looked at in the morning. Stayed at Allawah caravan park not great but ok for a night.

The last oyster session The Premium top of the fridge! Not disappointed
Sardine Restaurant in Paynesville signature dish, very good too!
Delicious desert Baked Figs pistachio ice cream and walnut cake! 😋

Wednesday

Left Paynesville early to get the caravan brakes looked at by 8:30. My greeting group this morning.

Brakes fixed then first stop at Mr Raymond’s in Sale for brunch and say hi to Carly Peters new bf who likes his old billabong camp jumper!
