Pushed through the morning hang over, breakfast at our beautiful hotel. Decided today was the day to see Amalfi and Ravello, as it was very windy, no beach today. Bought our bus tickets at tabbaco shop, and lined up for the crazy scary bus trip down to Amalfi first. Quick look around this very busy town, cathedral ✅ done, panini, coffee and real gelato.
Back down to water front line up for the bus to Ravello, more stunning vistas out the window of the bus. Ravello is my favorite between the two, more laid back and pretty. Made out way to Villa Cimbrone famous classic old and very beautiful. Back though the pretty town and to the mayhem of this crazy bus system. Very guilty person as I jumped the que to the bus back to Amalfi to change over to Positano. As today there was no boats running, a Sunday, so many people waiting, we buddied up with another couple and two that had had their wallet stolen, shared a taxi back to Positano, robbed $90 euro!
Popped into Bea and Simons for late afternoon Peroni and prosseco, and our goodbyes. We had a booking at our hotel restaurant but tried on the way back to get into da Vincenzo, as Lyn and Greg told us to go there, lucked up big time, we had tried the day before to book and was told booked out nearly for three days. We got outside seats which was really nice, great find beautiful food and ambiance, waiter even asked the table near to put their cigarettes out for us! Perfect last night in Positano.
