Up early for breakfast again on the hotel terrace overlooking the Trevi, this morning we have a wedding photo shoot amongst the selfie brigade.

Picked up by Carlo from Ap tours at Naples train station to our hotel Montemare in Positano. The hotel was a big surprise as most reviews I had read hadn’t really rated it high. The hotel is really Italian style lovely, the view, tiles everywhere but beautiful!
Wondered down to the beach front and had lunch at Chez Black, run by the Giovanni of Positano, an old guy of 80 plus sits at the front of his restaurant divrectung tourists to tables and making sure his staff are getting things right. Peter loved his pasta and seafood of the day. After lunch as it’s raining I dragged him up through the little shops for a touch of retail therapy and to find our way back to our hotel. Happy hour in our room as there’s a big thunder storm outside and we need an early night!
