Last Saturday as the weather was looking amazing, we took off for a night down at Foster to check out some future caravan weekend trips!
Booked into the Prom Country Hotel for a night, which was a good choice nice hotel, clean and friendly people with a beautiful golden retriever named Max. After settling in we took off for a drive in the afternoon down to the Prom, first stop was Squeaky Beach
Then after some one envading our personal space we headed off to Whiskey Bay for some beautiful pictures to be taken After a super good day with perfect weather and scenery, we got back to the hotel changed and took off to the greenhouse restaurant in foster and never to return!
Next morning we had breakfast at the hotel cafe named after the owners dog! Really nice breakie
Left foster around 10am for a scenic drive around the coast via Port Franklin, probably never return not much going on there! Then on to fish creek, Tarwin lower and the most beautiful spot Venus Bay! Take me there any day gorgeous! Stopped in Venus Bay and had a really lovely lunch of grilled fish and salad at a cool kinda place, few bikie boyz frequent with a resident fat lab that owns the place and doesn’t move for anyone! Onwards via Inverloch with a touch of retail therapy! Then a bit more scenery along the way with a dolphin show at Eagles Nest! Great spur of the moment weekend hope our 30 year anniversary can match this one!
