Sorry I had so much trouble trying to put today together, can’t work out sometimes, so I will start again. We took the ferry over to Varenna, which from the moment you arrive there, it’s an absolutely gorgeous village. We had a walk through the village, it has lots of little shops selling local art and local produce. After that we went back to our Europe boot camp tour and climbed up the mountain to the Vezio Castle. So worth the hike up the views back to the lake are stunning, as was the castle to complete with draw bridge! Hers some photos from the top –
The photos are all out of order sorry but this thing is not playing the game, the Red building is our bnb Nest on the Lake and this photo above is from our balcony. Photos of the drinks are of our bar crawl at Varrenna, the old Moto Guzi was taken at the last bar, the Harley Peter was admiring! That night we had dinner at the Lezzano local fish restaurant that was recommended by our host Costantino (tino) , there is a bar here too which Tino frequents a lot! It’s nice to visit Bellagio during the day, but really nice to be in a small village at night, very friendly little village on the lake, love it again! Yet another fantastic day, and not planned ok!
