Our last morning in Monterosso, it’s raining which means we can’t have breakfast in the garden so Elijah set up in our room. Ultra sad to leave Monterosso as we have both really enjoyed it here. We checked out of the bnb at 11am and had to wait for the direct train to Milan at 3pm, so we had our last walk around the town and found more special places.
As we where waiting at the station Jane, Rowan, Fiona and Peter arrived in Monterosso a quick catch up and our train arrived. See you in 4 days in Venice, and hope the weather improves for you! Our train arrived into Milan late so we missed our connection, so we got the next one, which we had to stop in Monza, scary station! We arrived by the best train so far in Italy to Como Station and found the bus to Bellagio straight away Lucky! The bus trip here to Lezzano was pretty special, all we could think of was Lou and Rowland doing this trip by car, good for you! Not. Glad I wasn’t in the car. We arrived at this bnb Nest on the lake at about 9pm, another great find. It is right on the lake and Costantino the owner was waiting out the front for us and offered us a drink straight away in his bar. Peter is in his element a lake outside the window and it’s flat, hello he is in heaven!
