We left Melbourne freezing cold miserable day, flying Emirates flight no. EK407 to Dubai at 9-30pm. It was a really good flight, as in good to fly at night and have a sleep then wake to nearly landing. The Emirates airline staff where all really lovely, happy which is pretty rare these days! Oh real cutlery too! Future emirates tips, we got seated in the very back row,ended up being a good thing. No. 1 Babies and kids all at the front of the plane, back wall behind us so the back rest doesn’t annoy any one. Also the room behind us was the airline crews sleeping room, so no noise, loo not to far. Seat no 84 in the middle.
Arrived in Dubai at 5:30 in the morning Dubai time, the airport is Massive! Buses came out to meet the plane and took about 15 minutes to take us to the customs area. All went well and arrived at The Novotel Diera city centre hotel, which was fine for a short stay as it’s super close to the airport, clean and quiet. Had breakfast an hour of sleep then Game On!
